I know it has been a very long while since I have posted anything (and very annoying for those of you who are regular blog-stockers), so I apologize. We had a very nice Christmas and are excited about a new year.
So, we have some GREAT news (drumb roll)...... Michael has been accepted into the orthodontic residency program at the University of Colorado for August of 2008! We are so excited and I am so happy for Michael. It will definitely be tough to be back in school (no paychecks), but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. Michael has always wanted to do ortho, so I'm excited that now he has the chance.

Congratulations!!! That is thrilling to get into a specialty after the military, especially b/c we are thinking of doing the same thing. From what I hear ortho is one of the hardest specialties to get into, so WAY TO GO! How exciting to have plans too. Yeah! We are moving to Japan this summer and are thrilled.
CONGRATULATIONS!! (Ron is trying to call Michael right now!) We knew things would work out! We are going to be SO sad to see you go, though. :o( Who will help us move ugly brown refrigerators up the stairs?? :o)

Zipporah! Hey you, about the candy challenge--it's strictly candy. You can still eat sweets. Tonight I had an ice-cream cone and I eat frozen yogurt through out the week but I'm not eating things like snickers, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate truffles etc. You can eat cake, cookies, and other desserts for sure! You're awesome. Those are some awesome goals you have. Are we all going to run in a marathon together? I'll look for some online and let you know which ones would be good! :) OR if you have other ones you'd want to run in let me know. Love ya!
